Cardiac Trained Physicians Cover
- Approximately 300 open hearts are performed annually, with an ambition to grow the program to 500.
- TAVR, MitraClip & Watchman are covered exclusively by cardiac anesthesiology.
- The cardiac anesthesiologists are also requested for complex cardiac patients for non-cardiac surgery, (vascular/thoracic, Afib ablations/transeptal procedures, etc).
