Radiation Oncology Physician

An established cancer institute in Central Illinois, near Bloomington is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary team. Position Highlights:

• Full-time Radiation Oncology opportunity
• Practice external beam radiation therapy; HDR brachytherapy is not required
• Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome
• Join a collaborative team of 7 Radiation Oncologists across multiple Central Illinois locations
• State-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam with micro-MLCs and onsite CT simulator and PET/CT
• Treatment capabilities include 3D, IMRT with RapidArc , SRS, SRT and SBRT
• Active stereotactic radiotherapy program
• EPIC, ARIA and Eclipse treatment planning systems
• Dedicated support from 2 medical physicists, medical dosimetrist, 4 radiation therapists and 2 RNs
• Weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference and disease-specific Tumor Boards
• Strong collaboration with Medical Oncology and Surgical Services
• Opportunity for academic appointment through an engineering-focused medical school
• Strong clinical cancer research program with an NCI-supported NCORP grant
• Access to more than 100 open clinical trials across East Central Illinois
• Opportunity to support investigator-initiated research through an established clinical research institute

Compensation & Benefits

• $525K $600K compensation
