Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct wellness exams and preventive health screenings
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with scope of practice
• Promote health education, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current California Physician Assistant license or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred

• Previous Family Medicine or Primary Care experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
• Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $132,000 - 198,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
